Collision is an intriguing, five-part British drama serial that originally broadcast in 2009. It’s easy to find on streaming services, and the story is as applicable today as when it first aired. It tells of a group of strangers whose fates overlap following a devastating multi-vehicle crash on a major motorway, where some people die, and others are injured.

Leading up to the crash, a police car had been pursuing one of the vehicles at high speed. When a lawsuit is later filed against the police, a police inspector named John Tolin is assigned to find the cause of the pileup. The plot of the series reveals discoveries about the various victims of the crash.

It happens that Inspector Tolin had just returned to duty after the death of his wife and the crippling of his adult daughter in a car crash caused by a drunken driver, who was subsequently sent to prison. Although Tolin was not in the car, he feels great guilt about it because rather than being with his family at the time...
