No one matches the NIL potential of Jesus Christ!

Many college kids these days are making bucketloads of money.

Until now, collegiate athletes were amateurs, which by definition meant they couldn’t make a dime for their time on the baseball field or basketball court. They played for the love of the game, basically working for free. Indeed, NCAA sanctions would immediately come into play if a local booster bought the player even so much as a soda as a gesture of appreciation.

All this has changed. Consider superstar Caitlin Clark, basketball player and former team member of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. She broke the all-time NCAA scoring record, announced that she was going to enter the WNBA draft, and recently joined the Indiana Fever.

The irony is that she probably could have made more money had she opted to stay at Iowa for another year. According to some analysts, by going pro, she’ll make less than she could have in college. She’s already worth $3 million, and her net worth is only going to grow.
