Since so many unreliable quotations appear on the internet, we need to quote God accurately.

AT A GLANCE:

Abraham Lincoln did not say, “The problem with quotes on the Internet is that no one can confirm their authenticity.” Nor does the Bible say that “cleanliness is next to godliness,” “God works in mysterious ways” or “God helps those who help themselves.” Christians often say that God will never give us more than we can bear. But does the Bible actually promise this?
