God to Job: “News flash — you are there; I am here!”

“Oh God … please grant me an IDEO!”

You’ve never petitioned God in such a way? Bet you have. Maybe we can flesh out what that IDEO request is really all about.

You’re shopping at the Mall of America with your kid or grandkid or the neighborhood kids, or just your husband. They’re bored and restless. You plod along, looking at a dozen versions of the same picture frame. They start to wander. You don’t notice. You move on to a display of faux jewelry.
