Junk food is being outlawed in schools across the country today. Fatty acids and poly unsaturates — not a problem when Jesus had but five loaves and two fish and up to 10,000 people to feed.

How do you start a food fight at school?

Not by throwing a pie.

School boards across the country have discovered that food fights erupt when you decide to focus on healthy nutrition. Some districts are limiting the amount of junk food — potato chips, cookies, candy bars and sodas — and their policy does not sit well with students, principals, parents or even teachers.

Isn’t this a good idea? And isn’t having soda machines and vending machines in our schools that dispense glucose in bars, and polyunsaturated fats in chips a bad idea? Don’t we have the fattest kids on the planet, and don’t we know that being overweight is something that just snacks up on you?
