The Christ-in-you virtues of fidelity, courage and restraint complete the theological scaffolding essential for a fully developed Christian life.

And the host, Jerry Springer, himself is making millions not only from his raw and raunchy regular program but is raking in additional fame and fortune through the sale of a video depicting shows that were too disgusting to even air on television. Violence, nudity, bizarre relationships and twisted psyches are packed into what has become one of the all-time runaway best-selling home videos.

Obviously it is vice and violence that sell. In such an environment, virtues seem to have no chance. Who buys videos on the daily practice of virtuous restraint, fidelity or courage? But those are among the virtues our world needs.
